Go Cubbies! Jon and I just got back from a quick trip down to Dallas where we watched the Chicago Cubs play the Texas Rangers. We drove down last Monday to visit family and friends and Tuesday we spent the day shopping around Dallas (which Jon was absolutely thrilled about!). Tuesday night we went to the first game of the series, which ended up being the only game the Cubs won. And to top it off Sammy Sosa was at 599 home runs (and for you women who probably don't know...he plays for the Rangers currently but used to play for the Cubs). So everyone was expecting him to hit his 600th home run, but he struck out each time at bat on Tuesday. Overall it all made the game pretty exciting. And I don't usually consider baseball exciting. Then it was back to Tulsa on Wednesday, but it was worth the short trip.
So this picture was taken last week which was 32 weeks. And tomorrow we will be 33 weeks. Time is flying by! Jordyn rolls around alot and definitely likes to stick me with her body parts from time to time. As uncomfortable as it can be, I have to admit it is pretty cool to be able to feel a foot or hand poking my side.
We also had our first two baby showers in the past couple weeks. One was thrown by my two sisters, my mom's ya-ya sisters, and Rachael here in Tulsa. The shower was so much fun and it was wonderful to see everyone! Thanks to everyone who came or sent a gift, we appreciate it more than you know! And the second shower was at work and we got tons of great stuff there too. We have all the basic necessities now and it has been fun settting it all up in the nursery. As soon as the nursery is done, we will post some pics.
