An update on our little one...she has croup. Or had croup. I think she is over it for the most part. It is basically a barky cough that you get from inflammation in your airway. Jon and I (okay mainly me but he got nervous too) had a freak out moment on Friday night when we almost took her to the ER because she was taking deep breaths like she couldn't breath. So on Saturday we made a special visit to the doctor and he gave her a steroid to help the inflammation. Other than some yucky sneezes she is operating at full speed again and tearing up my house!
A couple weeks ago, Josh and Martha (and the twins) made a road trip to Tulsa. The democratic convention was in Denver and Josh had the week off! Why can't that happen to me?? It was a blast seeing the boys walking now and watching the cousins interact. There still isn't much socializing going on yet, but the boys play much rougher than Jordyn is used to. They like to pull hair and bite...while Jordyn is off hugging and kissing her stuffed animals! What a difference! Jon and I took a half day to join them for lunch and one last hoorah at the pool before summer's end with the whole fam.
