Amidst all the craziness around here, we have been given a few blessing lately. The first one is that a SOLD sign is about to be hung on our house. We got the offer about 2 weeks ago, accepted it immediately and the inspections were completed last week. It's been such a relief knowing we won't have to carry 2 mortgages. We will close Jan. 22nd so as soon as the holidays are over the packing will begin!
The second blessing is that we closed on our construction loan and the new house will start any day. Since the builder said that the pad might be pulled this week (meaning the grass will come off and they will start prepping for the footings/foundation) we wanted to get a pic of our lot.
